I’m delighted to be this year’s Academic Keynote at the Current Research in Speculative Fiction (CRSF) conference, hosted at the University of Liverpool on Thursday 3rd July and Friday 4thJuly 2025. It’s a brilliant conference of papers, panels, and conversations exploring speculative fiction in all its forms—fantasy, science fiction, horror, and more. I’ll be speaking about mushroompunk, intergenerational healing, and the posthuman imagination in the age of climate crisis and the cultural fungal turn.
