 CW50 &amp\; EACWP Futures for Creative Writing Online Conference\, 21st-22
 nd May 2021:\nCelebrating 50 years of Creative Writing at UEA\, join UEA a
 nd the European Association of Creative Writing Programmes (EACWP) for 2 d
 ays of online workshops\, panels\, lectures and discussions.\n\nThis onlin
 e conference seeks to bring together PhD research students\, Creative Writ
 ing tutors and graduates\, writers and scholars to explore the varieties o
 f practice in our discipline now\, the points of convergence and contentio
 n\, and\, crucially\, the opportunities for future development and the for
 ces that may shape the nature of writing in the academy over the next seve
 ral years.\n\nCentral to the conference will be an acknowledgement of the 
 importance of literature and drama in helping us navigate challenging mome
 nts in history.\nI’m really excited to go as an attendee as well as a sp
 eaker - particularly for the keynotes from Bernardine Evaristo\, Carolyn 
 Forché\, John Yorke and (one of PhD supervisors and total legend) Andrew
