I’m super excited to be taking part in the ‘Ask An Expert’ series for the SYP. For more details, following the link . Here’s their blurb, which is much better than mine would be:
‘To kick off the new year of our Ask an Expert series, we will be joined by Jasmin Kirkbride, Publishing Director of Endeavour Press, not to mention former-SYP committee member. This will take place on Monday 15th January 6.30pm GMT.
Jasmin is the Publishing Director at Endeavour Press, the UK’s leading independent publisher of digital and backlist books. She joined Endeavour in June 2017 after a long stint of freelancing, focussing on journalism with Bookbrunch, Publishers Weekly, Time Out and others. In editing, marketing, digital and social media capacities, she has worked with Blackwells, Hay Festival, Rebellion, Galley Beggar Press, and Dodo Ink, among others. Jasmin is also the author of a four-book self-help series, and has had her short stories published in various magazines.
Join us on members only area, The Network, on 15th January to hear about freelance journalism in publishing, building a portfolio career, and the workings of an eBook publisher.’
